One of a Kind - Moonstone Quatrefoil Post Earrings

The quatrefoil design has been used since 5700 BC, when it was used on pottery in Syria, Since then, we've seen it on gothic and renaissance designs from the 12th to 17th century, particularly in churches and cathedrals. I think it's symmetry makes it popular and also looks a little like a clover shape for good luck! I paired this design with moonstone, the lucky charm linked to the tides, the earth, mothers, emotions, and the cyclical nature of women.

I cut out the silver behind the moonstone to keep them light weight. Substantial ear clutch keeps them secure.
