Meet Lori

Delighted. Beautiful. Fashionable. Comfortable. Happy. Environmentally aware.

All words used by women who wear MARTINI Jewels.

Our goal is to create jewelry you'll reach for again and again. When women approach me and tell me that my jewelry is what they wear every day, to me, that's the highest compliment. In this age of ever changing and disposable fashion, I want to create pieces that will stand the test of time. Made from fine, recycled materials. Pieces you'll treasure, with a contemporary flair.

If you're like me, you understand how important it is to protect the environment for our families, both now and in the future. Because of this, I choose ONLY to use sterling silver and 14 kt gold and gold fill from recycled resources so that my jewelry doesn't harm the earth or its people. In a business where producing just one ring can produce five TONS of environmental waste, I don't think there's any alternative. Wouldn't you agree?

Do you believe in destiny?

Have you ever reflected on your life's journey and wondered if you were on the right path to happiness? I know how you feel.

Some people just seem to know what they want to do with their life - me? Not so much. I studied music, accounting, radiation therapy, and although I felt I was doing good, it wasn't my bliss.

Then one day, I was sitting next to a coworker and complimented her on her necklace. And practically fell over when she said she made it. Wait, what? You can do that? How? Tell me more. I. Was. Hooked.

Do you remember when you were little and went to summer camp? And how you woke up every morning with the feeling of possibility - so many new things to do and try. Well, that's what my business is like to me - every day is craft camp.

And when you wear my creations, I hope you're instilled with the spirit, energy and summertime bliss I felt when I made them.

People ask me about the name of my business, MARTINI Jewels. Well, like most artists, in the beginning I started as a "kitchen crafter", creating jewelry at the kitchen table. My husband would come home from work, and attempt to make his evening martini and couldn't because I was photographing my jewelry dangling from the sole martini glass in the house. That's why my logo features a martini glass with an earring. Note to self: It's probably time to get him another glass.

Thanks for visiting, feel free to drop me a line anytime!
