One of a Kind - Desert Jasper Pendant

Searching the world over, here's a one of a kind stone, polychrome jasper, also known as desert jasper. Found in Madagascar, which is on the eastern coast of Africa, this stone is still hand dug, due to its hard to reach remote locations. It certainly resembles the desert with its banded earthy colors! Formed over millions of years from volcanic ash and mineral deposits that solidified, this stone is relatively new, discovered in 2008. It's a stone of grounding, emotional balance, and creativity. Wearers value it for its ability to reduce stress and foster a happy outlook.

This pendant has a generous depth to it and I've added a little beaded detail for visual interest.
