One of a Kind - Opalized Wood Pendant

Opalized wood reminds me of the oceans and sand. And summer. 

It's formed when forests are covered by volcanic ash and silica seeps in and solidifies. If it had crystallized, it would be quartz, but because it solidified, it's opal. Ever notice how so many stones are created because of volcanoes? Just a thought. 

This particular piece is a teardrop shape and I added one small beaded detail at the base for visual interest. 

This listing also allows you to add a chain in your choice of lengths, should you choose.
