One of a Kind - Turquoise Pendant
Why does everyone like turquoise? Could be its color, a blue-green combination that evokes the sky and sea, and has been coveted for thousands of years as a symbol of luck, protection and good health. Turquoise has been valued by Native Americans, of course, but also by Persians (now Iran) and also ancient Egyptians.
This particular stone is old mine Kingman turquoise, meaning, a) it was mined in the 1970's, (hence old mine) and b) it's from the Kingman mine in Kingman, Arizona. It's rare, let me just say that.
This pendant is tear dropped shape and I've added a little beaded detail for visual interest.
This listing also allows you to add a chain in your choice of lengths, should you choose. Chain is shown in picture 2.
