Enamel - Matisse Inspired African Violets

Inspired by the work of Henri Matisse, this collection takes the shapes introduced by this modern artist and develops them further, using multiple colors and layers of glass powder on hand-sawn copper and then kiln fired to achieve the desired effect. This particular pair is hand sawn and to me, resembles African violets
